Conditions
All bookings made through websites or Allora House Kalgoorlie directly are made subject to these terms and conditions and the person making the booking will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions on behalf of all persons who will be staying under the booking.
Payments & Documentation
Full payment is required at the time of booking in Australian Dollars. Payments may be made by Visa, Mastercard, Diners, American Express, PayPal, Direct Transfer.
If payment is not made for your booking by the time of booking, then you authorise Allora House Kalgoorlie to charge the credit card used to confirm your booking for the outstanding amount of your booking.
Essential Check-In Requirements
To protect you from identity fraud we will ask you to provide a photo ID to ensure that your identity matches the booking identity and the credit card used to make the booking. You agree that any identification and contact information that you supply may be used by us in the event of a credit card or identity dispute.
Travel Insurance
Allora House Kalgoorlie strongly recommends you take out travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances such as the need to cancel your booking or disruption to your travel. Travel insurance is inexpensive and can cover the loss of deposits cancellation fees loss of baggage travel disruptions and medical expenses.
Cancellations
If you have to cancel all or part of your stay for whatever reason you should contact us about any changes as soon as possible.
If you cancel your booking more than 5 days before arrival you will receive a full refund of monies paid. Cancellations within 5 days of arrival will be charged the equivalent of 50%. No refund is provided in the case of no show.
Any cancellation fees payable by you will be deducted from any monies paid by you to Allora House Kalgoorlie and if insufficient funds are available, we may charge and you authorise us to charge the credit card the details of which you provided at the time of making your booking.
Amendments
Should you wish to add any services to your arrangements following the confirmation of your stay there will be no amendment charge. Should you need to amend the dates of any services following their confirmation you will be required to pay any greater costs if applicable in full.
If you have been quoted and charged an extended stay rate and your stay is shortened, the guest authorises Allora House Kalgoorlie to adjust the rate reflecting this new length of stay rate. This adjusted rate will be used to calculate refunds or remaining payment due then you authorise Allora House Kalgoorlie to charge the credit card used to confirm your booking for the outstanding amount.
Refunds
We process refund requests promptly and any refunds due are paid to guests as soon as practical. In order to protect our valued guests from financial fraud, any refund will be made in the manner the original payment was made in Australian Dollars. Refunds of payments made via Credit Cards will only be made directly into the original paying Credit Card. Your bank manager can assist with the transfer to the new credit card should you have changed Credit Cards in the interim.
Stay Inclusions
The inclusions published on this website are accurate at the time of publishing but details may change for various reasons. Please study the conditions relating to this website carefully and check the specific stay details quoted by us in your Individual Costing or your travel agent before you book. All stays inclusions and bonuses are subject to availability at the time of booking.
Wildlife is by its very nature ‘wild’ and are free spirits to exist without constraints of their behaviour. While Australia is particularly blessed with an abundance of wildlife (animals and plants) their presence is not guaranteed at any time.
Medical
Any physical mental or emotional disability that may require special handling or treatment must be advised in writing when a reservation is made. Some holidays and travels are to remote areas and guests on medication should take an ample supply with them.
As all travels can experience remote regions with hot dry or wet conditions can prevail so recommend a medical examination for those in poor health. No responsibility can be accepted for accidents, illness or misadventure, or loss of goods or possessions.
International Travel Responsibilities
It is your responsibility to ensure that each traveller within the travelling party is able to enter Western Australia including organising appropriate passports and visas travel documents or any other immigration and border control needs. It is your responsibility to understand the current or likely risks of travel and to make any necessary preparations (such as taking medical advice on vaccinations). We encourage guests to review travel prohibitions, warnings, announcements, and advisories issued by relevant governments prior to booking travel to international destinations. We strongly recommend that you consult with the smarttraveller.gov.au website before booking (and monitor smarttraveller.gov.au until you return home) and take other measures to understand the risks of travel and what your general responsibilities are as a traveller.
Allora House Kalgoorlie does not warrant or recommend that any locality or travel product is appropriate for your circumstances it is your responsibility to choose these according to your own needs and your appetite for risk and adventure.
Force Majeure Event
“Force Majeure Event” means any act of God, war, terrorism, fire, flood, cyclone or any other extreme weather conditions, loss of power, epidemics or pandemics (including COVID-19) public health emergencies, industrial disputes, slow-downs, or other strike riots or civil unrest, acts of government, semi-government or other authorities state and or federal government restrictions including (but not limited to) restrictions on travel and gatherings, inability to obtain any necessary licence or consent and delays caused by subcontractors, suppliers or other third parties (including telecommunications carriers), material shortages or other disruption to your accommodation or travels.
Allora House Kalgoorlie reserve the right to delete cancel or alter accommodation or other travel arrangements without notice or explanation. This could be caused by any Force Majeure event such as road or weather conditions unrest security or public health concerns strikes or any other unforeseen reason beyond our control. Alternative arrangements or travel credits or refunds will be offered if cancelled or deleted.
Alternative arrangements will be offered if accommodation is altered. Additional expense as a result of deleted cancelled or altered travel arrangements will always be at the passenger’s cost.
Government Requirements / COVID-19
If the guest contracts COVID-19 (or any other pandemic virus or disease) within 21 days of the scheduled arrival date or is instructed to self-isolate by the applicable Government or other authorising body or other persons, the guest must notify Allora House Kalgoorlie. In such circumstances, the guest will not be able to stay. Allora House Kalgoorlie reserves the right to request supporting evidence of any contraction of COVID-19 or instruction to self-isolate.
Where the guest presents with an elevated temperature or other symptoms of COVID-19 or any other communicable disease or virus (whether you are aware of the condition or not) the Company may in its absolute discretion:
In these circumstances and the stay is cut short it will be deemed to have been cancelled by the guest and usual cancellation provisions will apply. If the guest extends the date of their stay the guest is responsible for all costs incurred by Allora House Kalgoorlie. All costs incurred by the guest and Allora House as a consequence will be the guest’s expense.
If the guest shows symptoms of COVID-19 or any other communicable disease or virus and obtains a negative result to a COVID-19 test Allora House may in its absolute discretion allow the guest to stay.
The guest will comply with all vaccination testing requirements guidance and directions by the government health authority or other authorising body.
Guests are required to be fully vaccinated from 31 January 2022. Proof of vaccination will be required on check-in or booking will be deemed a no show.
Check-in
The Standard check-in time is 2:00pm. If you wish to guarantee your ability to check-in prior to 2:00pm you must book an additional night’s stay and pay the applicable rate for that additional night.
Any request must be made at least 72 hours before the date of check-in and is at the absolute discretion of Allora house Kalgoorlie.
Check Out
Standard check-out time is 10:00am. If you wish to check out later than the standard check-out time you must obtain approval from us at least 12 hours prior to your scheduled check-out time. We may approve a request for late check-out at our absolute discretion. if you check-out after 10:00am a charge equivalent to the full daily rate applies to your booking.
Room Servicing
Your booking includes common area servicing and refreshing. If your booking is longer than a week, we include weekly room servicing and linen change.
It is your responsibility to confirm with Allora House Kalgoorlie prior to making your booking that the feature/facility will be available during your stay.
Unaccompanied Minors and Pets
All guests under the age of 16 or pets must be accompanied by a responsible adult such as a parent step-parent guardian or other adult who has parental rights and responsibilities for the under 18-year-old guest or pets.
If a guest is found to be a person under the age of 16 or a pet is not accompanied by a responsible adult Allora House Kalgoorlie may immediately cancel the guest’s booking and the full booking amount will be forfeited to us under this clause.
Pets are by prior arrangement and outside pets only.
Consumer Law
To the extent permitted by law all conditions warranties guarantees rights remedies liabilities and other terms implied or conferred by statute custom or the general law that impose any liability or obligation on Allora House Kalgoorlie are excluded under these Terms and Conditions.
Nothing contained in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies the application of any provision, the exercise of any right or remedy, or the imposition of any liability under the Australian Consumer Law or under any international consumer protection legislation provided that to the extent that such law permits Allora House Kalgoorlie to limit its liability then Allora House Kalgoorlie’s liability is limited to:
Responsibility
All parties agree that the transaction occurs in the Australian State of Western Australia and that the applicable laws of Western Australia shall apply. All parties unconditionally agree to submit any dispute in connection with the booking agreement to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Western Australia. In the event that payment has been made to us by credit card (or debit card), you agree that you will not seek to chargeback (or reverse) your payment to us. In any event (including following a credit card chargeback) you agree that you are (and will remain) fully liable for any payments due to us as agreed at the time of booking and if at any time your payment is outstanding (including through chargeback) you agree to pay the outstanding amounts to us immediately (according to the payment schedule agreed at the time of booking and these conditions).
You will be liable for any additional debt recovery costs and any reasonable costs incurred by us through your payment being outstanding (including following a chargeback). If any of part(s) of this agreement is not upheld both parties agree that the remaining sections of this agreement remain in force.
To the extent permitted by the law, you agree to release indemnify and hold harmless Allora House Kalgoorlie and its current and former officers, employees, contractors, sub-contractors/consultants, and agents against from and in respect of all expenses, costs, liabilities, claims, actions, damages, and losses of any kind whatsoever (including but not limited to consequential and economic losses property loss/damage and damages for injury including personal injury and death) arising out of caused by attributable to or resulting from your stay except to the extent such expense, cost, liability, claim, action, or loss arose out of was caused by attributable to or resulted from Allora House Kalgoorlie’s negligence, wrongful, act/omission or breach of these terms and conditions.
To the extent permitted by law the aggregate of our liability to you is limited to an amount not exceeding the amount paid by you for your booking.
If part or all of any clause of these Terms and Conditions is illegal, invalid, or unenforceable then it will be read down to the extent necessary to ensure that it is not illegal, invalid, or unenforceable, but if that is not possible, it will be severed from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions will continue to have full force and effect.
All travel documents, observance of laws, and government regulations are your responsibility. Any illegal activity during your stay will be communicated to the authorities.
Any issues you find need to be communicated to us at the time of failure or at check-in as we want you to enjoy a stress-free and seamless stay. We regularly check all accommodation features and fixtures and will assume everything to be in order. If there is damage to our property charges may apply for replacement at market cost.
